Christie's
The auction house Christie's is a long-standing partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Over the years, Christie's has donated its services to several historic sites. A team of expert appraisers with specialties appropriate to an individual National Trust for Historic Preservation site—for example, French furniture, silver, or Old Masters paintings—examines, researches and places a value on the objects for insurance purposes. Christie's has contributed significantly to fundraising efforts at the sites and continues to work with the National Trust for Historic Preservation on a variety of projects and promotions.
