2007 Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation Preservation Fund
Through a $1 million contribution to the National Trust, Lowe’s is helping to preserve ten historic sites in the Northeast United States. These ten projects, selected by Lowe’s and the National Trust, each received grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. The 2007 grant recipients include
- The Iron Hill School #112C in Newark, DE
- The Tremont Estates Building in Boston, MA
- The Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA
- The Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol, ME
- The Woodlawn Museum in Ellsworth, ME
- The Ellis Island Ferry Building in Gladstone, NJ
- The Historic Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ
- The Harriet Tubman Home in Auburn, NY
- The Bryn Mawr Film Institute in Bryn Mawr, PA
- The Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse in Philadelphia, PA
