Regional and Field Offices

The National Trust for Historic Preservation's regional and field offices bring the programs and tools of the National Trust to local communities across the country. They offer technical assistance through consultations and field visits and financial assistance, primarily through small grants to help jump start local efforts. They convene educational programs for professional preservationists, and they work to foster preservation-friendly public polices which affect historic places. They also provide leadership on issues that concern entire regions, such as saving historic schools, fighting sprawl, and revitalizing cities through historic preservation.
