Grants

The National Trust for Historic Preservation offers several different types of grants available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies. The National Trust Preservation Funds provide matching grants for planning and educational efforts and intervention funds for preservation emergencies. Four other funds, The Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for Historic Interiors, The Hart Family Fund for Small Towns, and The Richard and Julia Moe Fund for Statewide and Local Partners, are also available. Applications should be sent to your regional office. Successful applicants will have discussed their project with the regional office representative for their state.
