Logging into Forum Online
At Forum Online you’ll find members-only online chats, more than 20 years of searchable past Forum Journal and Forum News articles, thousands of case studies, and up-to-date preservation news, funding opportunities, deadlines, upcoming events, and special members-only deals.
The best part is that you can share access to all these online resources with your colleagues, board members, patrons, and students with our special “share your benefits” feature.
To Access Forum Online:
- If you already have an account, simply sign in, click on the “My Account” link at the top left side of any page on our website, and add your Forum member number to your account (this box is on the bottom of the “My Account” page, right above the “Done” button).
- If you do not already have an account create one by clicking the register button on the top of this page. Your email address on the record must match the email we have on file. If you plan to share your benefits, we encourage you to create an account using a generic, organization-wide email address, such as info@myorg.org. Once you have registered fill out your online profile (also known as the My Account page) and add your Forum number to your account (this box is on the bottom of the “My Account” page, right above the “Done” button).
- Please note: It can take up to 24 hours for our system to grant you access to Forum Online.
Share Your Benefits:
To give access to your Board and Staff members go to the “My Account” page. On that page on the right hand side is a heading that says “Share your Benefits” with some text and a link to a survey form. All you have to do is copy that section of the website and drop it into an email to all the staff members. Once they fill out the survey (which will prompt them to create their own username and password) and submit the survey they will be able to log in with their own unique identity and access all Forum Content.
The one caveat is that if they already have a log in to preservationnation.org they should log in first, and then click on the survey link. That way the system won’t prompt them to create a new log in.
