Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia Names Caroline E. Boyce As New Executive Director

The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia announced that Caroline E. Boyce will assume the leadership of the organization in March.  Boyce is a preservationists with a background in development and planning. Prior to her appointment she has served as Executive Vice President of AIA Pennsylvania, a Society of The American Institute of Architects, since 2002, where she spearheaded the growth of AIA PA into a nationally recognized public policy leader. She was also a founding director of 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania and directed the Office of Statewide Partnerships at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Alliance thrived for the past ten years under the leadership of John Andrew Gallery, who retired earlier this year. Suzanna Barucco, a preservation consultant and Alliance Board Director, is serving as Interim Executive Director.
