Make Plans for Savannah and PastForward
The National Preservation Conference, PastForward, will visit Savannah for the third time November 11-14. While the conference team is in the midst of planning high-quality and engaging educational content through Learning Labs, Field Studies and the new, marquee, live-streaming events, TrustTalks, take some time to start planning your Savannah visit. From the historic sites and the beautiful squares and gardens, Savannah is a city worth exploring.
If you're looking to add a bit of adrenalin to your visit while attending PastForward consider running the Savannah Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Race Series as a PastForward runner on Saturday, November 8. Conference attendees receive a $10 discount on registration for the marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles), and will have the chance to purchase a PastForward running shirt. There's also a half marathon relay option for runners to team up and enjoy the festivities. Several members of the conference team have already signed up and are looking forward to joining other running enthusiasts and PastForward runners before the conference begins. Visit the PastForward Savannah website for more details.
PastForward, is brought to you by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in collaboration with SCAD: The Savannah College of Art and Design and in partnership with the Historic Savannah Foundation.
