Honoring Sacrifices by Saving Places
Like all Americans, preservationists respect and honor the sacrifices of our armed forces. From Bunker Hill to Pearl Harbor and beyond, our nation is filled with places of significance to the military. While battlefields and memorials are clearly meaningful, there is also more to the story - the forts and bases that servicemembers and their families call home are places that matter as well. This Veterans' Day, we're sharing the preservation stories of some of these places.
