I still pursue the consideration of Woods College in Mathison, MS. as a green lab. It is moving toward the establishment of a preservation school and an excellent place for a green lab, in both the teaching realm and the exhibit of green space realm.

I am chair with the Everett Historical Commission. We are currently involved with the early planning phase of a comprehensive Downtown Historic Preservation Plan for the City with a public meeting scheduled for June 23rd. As a LEED AP and preservationist, I have been actively promoting preservation as the original tool used for sustainability and using this language has helped me to better engage the public in a dialogue on historic preservation. I would like very much like to collaborate with any groups or individuals who could help me integrate sustainabiliy issues into our Downtown Historic Preservation Plan. I am hoping the PGL might be an avenue for this endeavor? Our goal is to submit a draft to City Council for approval within a year. Please advise. Thanks, Mark French
