Located near downtown Buffalo, N.Y., the West Village Historic District contains more than 100 structures, mostly houses, built between 1854 and 1914. The 22-acre district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods.
Buffalo will host the National Preservation Conference from Oct. 18 - 22, 2011.
