The Gilded Age mansions of Newport, R.I., glow even brighter during the holiday season. These photographs, by John Corbett and Ira Kerns for the Preservation Society of Newport County, offer glimpses inside The Breakers, an 1895 Vanderbilt estate; the 1901 estate known as The Elms; and the 1892 Marble House, another Vanderbilt "summer cottage."
