The National Main Street Center, Inc., (NMSC) educates communities on how to implement and maintain long-lasting preservation-based revitalization initiatives. Through our hands-on training and field services, our staff helps communities meet the challenges and opportunities facing their downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts. Our goal is to provide communities with the tools and information for successful, sustainable revitalization. We work with each partner to design individualized services, training programs, and educational seminars that meet local needs and resources.

Main Street Field Services staff offers a comprehensive range of services to traditional downtowns and neighborhood business districts in cities, small towns, high-growth communities, and inner-ring suburbs. We provide technical assistance and training to new and existing Main Street programs, business improvement districts, community development corporations, downtown development authorities, chambers of commerce, and municipal governments.
