About Mari:
Mari F. Mullen has served for eleven years as the executive director of the Port Townsend Main Street Program, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2010. As director, she was integrally involved in the creation of the Meet Me in Port Townsend.com campaign, which was based on elements of the Meet Me Downtown (Leesburg,VA) session offered at the 2007 National Main Streets Conference in Seattle, Washington. Port Townsend was one of the original five Main Street pilot programs in Washington State and was honored with a Great American Main Street Award® in 2000. The Port Townsend Main Street Program has also won numerous state awards for promotion and design related projects from the Washington State Main Street Program's Downtown Revitalization Institute. Ms. Mullen has also worked as an independent consultant for Main Street communities of Silver City, New Mexico, Chelan WA, and Dubois Wyoming Main Street.
