Arts Movement in Downtown Tyler
In a whirlwind year, the downtown in Tyler, Texas, was declared a Business, Arts, and Culture District. Then, it raised funds to rehab a theater and convert it into a performing arts hall, and finally it recruited the East Texas Symphony to locate downtown. Side projects included creation of the Downtown Tyler Arts Coalition and the new Gallery Main Street. Thinking about starting an arts movement of your own?
