Creative Fund Raising Strategies and Techniques

As purse strings tighten, you need alternative fund-raising strategies. This session will cover fund raising from the basics of running annual partnership campaigns to selling merchandise, from generating operational revenues through special events and sponsorships to conducting fund raisers. We will start with a fund-raising plan overview and then delve into all aspects of promotions and other special activities, moving away from costly or break-even events into income-generating activities! We will challenge promotion committees to take on expanded responsibility for fund raising and sponsorship development that will ease your program's fund-raising needs. We'll also include some unique fund-raising ideas that have been successful for other Main Street programs.
