It's a Circus Out There: Better Work on Your Balancing Act!

This one is all about you! Each year Main Street directors attend conferences and learn just about everything there is to know about downtown revitalization  how to take care of volunteers, how to take care of merchants, and how to take care of historic buildings. But, when have you attended a session that talks about taking care of yourself? Main Street directors have tough jobs and many people to please. This session will focus on ways to be professional and effective while eliminating stress and finding an appropriate balance between your professional and personal life. At a time when we are all focusing on branding for our programs and districts, don't forget that the Main Street director is the most important branding tool for the program. Everything you do reflects on your program and your district! The balancing act begins and ends with professionalism and so does this presentation.
