Present a Session at the 2011 Main Streets Conference.

The 2011 National Main Streets Conference will explore and highlight innovative techniques and practices that help Main Street programs continue to grow and be successful. Whether you hail from an urban business district, small rural downtown, or some place in between, we invite you to present your successes, ideas and expertise at the National Main Streets Conference in Des Moines, Iowa, next May. The primary reason people attend the conference is for its strong educational content and we are looking for beginning, intermediate, and advanced proposals to meet each learning level.

The National Main Streets Conference attracts professionals in preservation-based, commercial district revitalization, including new and experienced downtown and neighborhood Main Street directors, board members, architects, planners, economic development professionals, public officials, volunteers, and consultants. We are especially interested in proposals that involve new and interesting partnerships with other organizations, methods, and that involve cutting edge ideas in the fields of: economic development, community development, entrepreneurship, inclusion, volunteer and organizational management.

The National Main Streets Conference is no longer accepting session proposals for the 2011 conference in Des Moines.
