Local Historic Districts: Preservation & Profit

Local Historic Districts safeguard the architectural identity of a community, strengthen its economy, and foster pride in local history. Come get tried and true tips from people who have had success creating LHD’s in their own communities. The presenters will help attendees understand the process required to get listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, learn how to educate and engage their communities along the way, and come up with innovative fundraising ideas to support the cause.
