Why Aren’t You Asking for Year-End Gifts?
| Tuesday, May 20 | 10:45 a.m - 12 p.m. | Room: LaSalle A | Session Track: PD
Nonprofit organizations—including your Main Street program—could be raising up to 40% of their donations during the last six weeks of the year through an effective year-end appeal. This workshop will teach participants a simple 10-step process and the tools needed to implement a year-end fundraising campaign, starting before Thanksgiving and lasting until December 31, using both social and traditional media. Topics include creating a realistic goal, preparing a website for online donations, sorting mailing lists, creating compelling stories, producing letters and emails to reinforce the campaign, and being prepared for the last push between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
