Main Street Now 2016
Join us May 23-25, 2016 in downtown Milwaukee for Main Street Now, a conference of the National Main Street Center. Core programming will take place at the Wisconsin Center and the historic Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
This year’s conference will bring together doers, makers and innovators to address challenges facing 21st century downtowns and commercial districts, while building on collective insights to take advantage of opportunities on the horizon. Together we will focus on creating places that are economically competitive and socially connected, as well as developing leaders that can direct these efforts and pave the way for communities of the future. With Milwaukee as our living laboratory, Main Street Now will offer creative solutions to everyday Main Street challenges to help position your community for success.
Main Street Now is the largest nationwide gathering of commercial district revitalization professionals in the nation. Held in the spring, this annual event draws community leaders from small towns, mid-sized cities and urban neighborhood business districts. The conference brings together over 1,500 dedicated professionals, boards, municipal staff, and other key decision makers together to share their successes and challenges and foster new ideas and solutions for preservation-based revitalization.
