Congratulations to the Seattle-Puget Sound area, selected for the Partners in Preservation program. Check back on April 14, 2010 when voting begins.
With the public's input, American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation will give away $1 million in preservation grants in the Seattle-Puget Sound area.
American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation have identified 25 historic places that reflect the region's rich and diverse heritage. On April 14, the Partners in Preservation team will reveal the 25 participating places here at www.PartnersinPreservation.com.
From April 14 – May 12, the public will be invited to vote here for the places they would like to receive preservation funding and to share their personal stories and photos of the 25 sites. Each person can vote once daily for any of the 25 historic places. The winner of the public vote is guaranteed to receive a grant, so your votes really do count!
