Habitat Meets Preservation
- Traditionally, Habitat has built new homes using standardized plans. In recent years, more and more affiliates have begun rehabilitating existing housing stock.
- In order to have a broader impact on communities, Habitat for Humanity International has developed a Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative that will equip affiliates to provide expanded services, including repair, rehabilitation, and weatherization.
- Habitat ReStores are local retail outlets that sell new and lightly used fixtures, accessories, appliances and building materials at discount prices.
