Conference Registration

Conference registration includes admission to all of the conference’s non-ticketed sessions and special events: Opening Plenary, education sessions, “Conversation Starter Sessions, special lectures, Exhibit Hall, and Opening Reception. There is an additional fee for field sessions/tours and many of the Affiliate Events. Events that list a price require a ticket, these events are not included in the registration fee.

What is PRESERVATION LEADERSHIP FORUM?

If you’re not already a Forum member, check out the benefits of joining Forum with your conference registration! Getting to Spokane is Easy!

Spokane’s airport is served by non-stop flights from many cities, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, which also means that you can easily connect through hubs on Delta (our partner), Alaska, Southwest, Frontier, United, and US Airways into Spokane. Once you land, getting downtown is a quick 10-minute cab or bus ride into the city. Both the Davenport (509.455.8888) and the Doubletree hotels (509.455.9600) provide airport shuttle service (the Davenport charges $25 each direction, the Doubletree is complimentary). Spokane Transit Authority also serves the airport (www.Spokanetransit.com). Taxis are available; it takes approximately 10–15 minutes to get from the airport to downtown at a cost of about $25.

Flights

To receive the discount on Delta, book your discount fares directly online. Visit www.delta.com and take advantage of your 2–10% discount, depending on where you’re flying from and with a $125 base fare in each direction. When booking online look for the Meeting Event Code box and enter NM95X. Or call Delta Meeting Reservations at 800.328.1111, Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. CDT (there is a $25 processing fee for reservations made over the phone.)

Rental Car

For rental car needs book with Avis at www.avis.com or call 1.888.754.8878 and refer AWD Number: J948889.

Taxi

Call Advanced Transportation and Shuttle Service,  mention that you’re with the National Preservation Conference, for a special discounted rate of $18 to/from Spokane Airport into downtown!

Amtrak

Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to (Spokane, WA) between (October 28, 2012 – November 06, 2012). To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X58K-950 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

Online reservations are no longer available. For new reservations contact The Davenport Hotel & Tower at 509-455-8888.  Please identify yourself as a National Preservation Conference attendee and the special conference rate will be extended to you based on availability.

If you need to cancel or make changes to an existing reservation, please call the Spokane Housing Bureau at 800-662-0084, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., PST. Or you can use the link included in your confirmation email to make changes as well.
