January
Education Sessions feature speakers and panelists addressing topics related to the theme of the conference or of continuing interest to preservationists, in areas such as public policy, neighborhood conservation, economic development, heritage education and organizational development.
Deadline for submission of Education Session proposals is January 11 January 18.
Field Sessions are educational opportunities that take attendees out into the host city and region to visit historic sites, neighborhoods and projects for an in-depth look at a particular topic which provides opportunities for interaction among attendees and local leaders.

February
Other national, statewide or local preservation organizations may conduct events such as meals, receptions and board meetings during the conference.
Deadline for submission of Affinity Event applications is February 23 .
March
Each year the National Trust celebrates the best of preservation by presenting National Preservation Awards (National Preservation Honor Awards, Trustees' Awards, National Trust/HUD Secretary's Award or National Trust/ACHP Award) to individuals and organizations whose contributions demonstrate outstanding achievements in historic preservation.
Deadline to submit nominations for National Preservation Awards is March 1.
Last date to submit information for Preliminary Program is March 1.
May
The National Trust offers financial assistance each year to enable students and community leaders, from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds to attend the conference.
Deadline for Diversity Scholarship applications is May 31 .
June
A special scholarship program is available to Oklahoma residents whose attendance will benefit their community and whose commitment to historic preservation will be strengthened by their participation.
Deadline for Oklahoma Scholarship applications is June 1.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting with the distribution of registration packets, staffing the local hospitality booth, and monitoring educational session rooms. Volunteers receive equal time to attend non-ticketed conference activities in exchange for the hours they volunteer.
Deadline for submission of Volunteer Application forms is June 1.
Conference Preliminary Program is mailed June 1 .
Deadline for Exhibit Hall applications and program descriptions is June 30.

Deadline for early-bird registration rates is July 31.
September
Deadline for making hotel reservations is September 7.
Take One Tables are for display of nonprofit organization materials only. Deadline to reserve space for your handouts on the Take One Table is September 14.
