Historic Real Estate Program

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, in partnership with ERA Franchise Systems, Inc., is proud to offer the Historic Real Estate seminar, Architecture in America.  Completion of the course provides real estate professionals with a valuable, marketable advantage over their competition:

The seminar aims to facilitate the stewardship of historic properties; strengthen real estate agents' expertise in the historic real estate market; and help them to better serve the needs of their historic homeowners and buyers.  It also provides valuable information agents can pass along to their clients by recognizing how these architectural styles and design features are reflected in newer homes throughout the United States.

Architecture in America covers the history of all major American architectural styles.  The curriculum spans more than three centuries and emphasizes the Old World roots of American design.

The seminar is open to all real estate professionals, regardless of company affiliation.  *ERA agents completing the course will have use of the National Trust for Historic Preservation logo on their business materials.  **All non-ERA agents completing the course will be recognized as "trained in historic real estate through the National Trust for Historic Preservation."
