Fireman's Fund Insurance Company
Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company has been a partner of the National Trust since 2008 when they became the official sponsors of This Place Matters: a campaign that called on local preservationists across the country to submit photos of places that mattered to them (link to the TPM landing page). Through this sponsorship, Fireman’s Fund supported photo contests and local voting challenges to give unrestricted operating funds to preservation groups – engaging over 100,000 people in different activities. In 2012, Fireman’s Fund became a marketing partner of the National Trust.
- 2008: This Place Matters launch.
- 2009: Photo contest engages over 2,000 photographers across the country.
- 2010: Community Challenge voting competition launched. Fireman’s Fund donates $25,000 to the top vote getter.
- 2011: Fireman’s Fund donates $75,000 to local groups through the second year of the Community Challenge.
