Send Congress a budget proposal that funds the Historic Preservation Fund at its authorized level and provides a substantial increase to historic preservation programs, specifically to the State and Tribal Historic Preservation Officers. Save America’s Treasures should be funded at $30 million a year. Fund Preserve America and the digitization of National Register of Historic Places.

Send Congress a budget proposal that includes full funding for Farm Bill programs that include historic preservation activities.

Develop a preparedness plan including a proactive, comprehensive survey of disaster-prone historic resources and address the need for urgent response and recovery plans.

In the Section 106 process of the National Historic Preservation Act, mandate that federal agencies evaluate impacts to historic resources in the earliest stages of project planning.

Provide adequate funding and staff for federal agencies to survey, identify, manage, interpret, and protect historic and cultural resources, including full funding for Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
