Featuring a plant sale and demonstrations by area Master Gardeners, this very special event celebrates the Valley’s agricultural and horticultural heritage. Enjoy browsing through a selection of plant and garden vendors, a yard sale, and Middletown’s own farmer’s market. The festival also includes an array of food for sale, giveaways, and plenty of information on gardening techniques both new and old. There’s even something for children, who can learn to build their very own toad house! Presented in conjunction with the Northern Shenandoah Valley Master Gardeners, this event celebrates Issac Hite’s legacy of agricultural innovation on the original plantation and leaves you thinking about how you can carry on this tradition in your own backyard.
