Billings Farm & Museum

The Billings Farm & Museum is recognized as the interpretive gateway to the rural heritage of Vermont.

It is an active operating partner of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller NHP, which is Vermont's only National Park.  It anchors the northern side of the historic community (and NRHP district) of Woodstock.  It serves over 55,000 visitors annually, including 5,000 schoolchildren, as well as a membership of 1,000 families and individuals.  Its mission is to advance culture, heritage, environmental quality and beauty, recreation, and civic vitality as qualities essential to sustainable communities and a healthy human spirit.  As an interpretive gateway to rural Vermont, it encourages public appreciation and cultural heritage tourism of Vermont's working landscape of farms, forests, and compact communities and villages.
