Helping people protect, enhance
and enjoy the places that matter to them

Rockville Downtown Association, Inc.

Waterfalls cascade down behind the Amerbelle and Anocoil buildings.

Two waterfalls cascading down behind the old mill buildings in downtown Rockville, CT have had  invasive growth of brush that all but obscures any view from the street. The falls represent the historic origin of the town and its early mill industry that utilized water for power in the area known as "The Rock" in 1821 (a natural dam of solid stone). To rediscover the falls, we seek to clear a safe viewing area and light them up to bring attention to their most scenic features.
