Accredited by the American Association of Museums and listed on the national Register of Historic Places, this 35-acre historic estate on Fort Lauderdale Beach is an extraordinary blend of art, history and nature. The whimsically-designed house was built in 1920 and was home to artists Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett. Once you walk down the path to the house, you almost forget your surroundings - the tour is something you will surely enjoy if you like history. Take a morning off your South Beach vacation to relax and soak in the charm of a world gone by! The estate is beautifully decorated with tropical motifs, contrasting colors, and luscious landscapes. Despite being steps away from the beach, you wouldn't know it once you enter the vivid blue and yellow doors.
