Overlooking the natural beauty of the Hudson River, this mansion is one of the most influential romantic structures built in America. Designed in the Gothic Revival style by prominent architect A.J. Davis, Lyndhurst was home to three important New York families. Rolling lawns and majestic specimen trees enhance the picturesque concepts first introduced at this estate along the Hudson.

Lyndhurst is owned and operated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
