Alligator
The foundation will be repaired and an HVAC system will be installed at the Alligator Rosenwald School.

The Alligator Rosenwald School was built in 1926.  It was used as a polling center until 2002.

The grant funds will be used to repair the building's foundation, install a bathroom and HVAC system, and to refinish the interior.

Once restored, the building serve as a community center for local residents, and an educational and cultural center for visitors to the nearby Palmetto-Peartree Preserve.

The Conservation Fund will manage the restoration project.  To learn more, visit www.palmettopeartree.com.
