Seneca School (Oconee Senior Center)
Seneca, South Carolina
Award Type: Lowe's
The Seneca School was built in 1925 and is currently serving as the Oconee Senior Center.
The grant funds will be used for a new HVAC system and wiring for unused portions of the building in order to expand the space and programs offered. The upgrades will improve safety and energy efficiency.
Once complete, the building will continue to serve as the Oconee Senior Center and community activity place. It will aim to serve the nearly 70,000 seniors in the area through health, exercise, and educational programs.
SENIOR Solutions will manage the project. To learn more, visit their website or contact Tracy Hayes in the Southern Regional Office.
