Lincoln School
Pikeville, TN

The Lincoln School was built in 1925 and still serves as a community and meeting center
The funds will be used to repair and restore interior elements including the stamped tin ceiling. Exterior paint and repairs, along with the installation of an HVAC system will also be part of the restoration project.
These improvements will insure that the building can offer tours, and operate as a museum year round in order to educate the public about 20th Century African American history. It will also to be used for the Lincoln Alumni Association annual events, and as a community meeting center.
The Lincoln Alumni-Community Historical Association will manage the restoration project.
