Ware Creek Rosenwald School

A new climate control system will be installed at the Ware Creek Rosenwald School.
The Ware Creek Rosenwald School was built in 1921.
The grant funds will be used to make much needed climate control updates to the building which require installing a central HVAC system, additional insulation and window treatments to support the system.
Currently, the school operates only six months of the year as an adult education facility. These necessary improvements will enable it to remain open and serve the community year round.
The Ware Creek Community Development Program will manage the restoration project.
