Ensuring the survival, conservation, and integrity of California’s missions requires expertise, funding and patience. Repairs that might ordinarily take weeks in a modern building require months in these venerable adobe structures, and cost factors are generally higher than in other historic preservation projects.

When Mission San Miguel is made structurally sound, it will reopen its doors to the general public.
