Study Leader Information
Patrick Abbott has a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a long time Professor of Geology at San Diego State University. Pat will lecture on the plate tectonics and volcanic activity in the areas visited on this cruise, and why these regional phenomena are significant on a global scale.
