Explore the awe-inspiring ruins of Tikal, including its towering temples and shrines. Then look for parrots and toucans on a birdwatching excursion, cruise Lake Petén Itza, or visit the charming Spanish-Colonial town of Flores.

November 5 & 6 - Masaya Volcano & Historic Granada, Nicaragua
Look down into a lake of lava from the rim of the most active volcano in the region. Hike and explore this amazing landscape, and learn about the dramatic colonial heritage of the restored town of Granada. At the San Francisco Convent Cultural Center, see impressive basalt sculptures of pre-Columbian indigenous people from Zapatera Island.
