Athens Greece
A land steeped in mythology and legend, Greece has captured the minds and hearts of artists and writers for centuries. Our odyssey begins in Athens, where the magnificent Acropolis and lively plaka district await discovery, and continues to the idyllic islands of Crete and Santorini. Explore Rethymnon, including the nearby Palace of Knossos, described in myths as the home of King Minos and the Minotaur. Visit Heraklion, the island's capital and center of the Minoan civilization, and lovely Chania. Cruise to Santorini, rumored to be the site of the lost city of Atlantis, and the caldera islet of Thirassia. Traditional music and dance performances provide a lively backdrop to the program.
