The Great Journey Through Europe Aboard Amadeus Diamond
September 5 - 15, 2013
Join us on this Great Journey through Europe, a trip of a lifetime. Travel through four countries and the western heart of the Continent. Cruise from the Dutch polder land, reclaimed from the North Sea, through the fairy-tale beauty and UNESCO-designated section of the Rhine River, then experience three of the world’s legendary railways and visit four more important UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
From Basel, travel overland through the verdant countryside of Switzerland. Stop in the medieval gem of Berne and in Interlaken, scenically situated near the magnificent Bernese Oberland Alps. Spend two nights in Zermatt, where you will marvel at the iconic Matterhorn as you travel aboard the Gornergrat Bahn. Then, cross the mountainous backbone of Switzerland aboard the celebrated Glacier Express. Our tour concludes in lovely Lucerne for two nights in the five-Star HOTEL SCHWEIZERHOF, where glorious panoramas surround you.
